Here are some articles about Greg or Everwood
Text articles.
OUR NEW CRUSH: Gregory Smith
WHY YOU KNOW HIM The 21-year-old is Ephram Brown, your favorite
piano-playing, brooding resident of TV-land's Everwood on the WB.
WHY YOU'LL GET TO KNOW HIM BETTER In his new
film, Nearing Grace, Greg plays Henry Nearing, a sweet guy who is dealing with the loss of his mom. Yes, he's a little like
dear Ephram, but he's not the same person. "When I read the script, I saw that they're in similar situations, but they are
such different people," says Greg. "Henry would definitely win in a fight."
NOT A NKOTB Show biz is nothing
new to him: "My first commercial was for Tide when I was 14 months old, and then I was a baby model for Sears. I think I spent
way too much time at department stores when I was younger, because now I can't stand them."
LIGHTS, CAMERA, CANADA?
"My family and I moved from Toronto to Vancouver when I was four. There was no print [modeling] work there, but Vancouver
is called 'Hollywood North,' because it's where they shoot a lot of TV shows and movies. Ever since then, acting has been
the path that I've been on."
GREG VS. GREG Like the hardworking Cancer that he is, Greg is constantly putting
himself to the test: "I like to challenge myself and see if I can get anything out of the experience. I tried being a vegetarian,
but I lost too much weight, so I went back to eating everything but red meat. I got rid of cable, bought a bookshelf and told
myself that I could only put books up there that I had read. I filled one side but then put CDs on the other." Any tests that
were a bust? "The cold-shower test..."
THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE Despite his outdoorsy disposition (he is from Canada,
after all), one of Greg's dreams is to move to New York, train for a year and run the New York City Marathon. "I just want
to run it and then move on. I'll even get a mohawk like P. Diddy." Nice, but will he have a bodyguard running with him? |
